Your vehicle’s timing belt is responsible for synchronising the rotation of your engine’s crankshaft and camshaft. Without one your engine won’t be able to run and if your timing belt snaps whilst driving it can cause serious and expensive damage to the engine.

Your cambelt will have a manufacturer's specified replacement interval that is imperative to adhere to. These intervals vary between manufacturer but all vehicles will need their cambelt replacing a few times over its lifetime.
